When We Eat Matters

BREAKFAST is the first meal of a day, often eaten in the morning. I believe it is the most important meal since it means breaking the fast from the previous night.
A quick breakfast can have a big impact on your day, improving your mood and reducing obesity.
On a busy morning it is quite easy to end up not having time for breakfast, however taking a couple of minutes to fix a quick and healthy meal can have a big impact on your day.
You want to aim for breakfast that combines good carbs and fiber with some protein. here are a couple of options to choose from some of my favorite breakfast recipes :

it is the most important meal so make it special :)
load up on vegetables and fruits by starting each morning with a nutritious blended drink

Pineapple and Orange Tango Smoothie

ingredients
1 pineapple diced
3 oranges squeezed
1/2 cup of ice

direction
bring all ingredients together in a blender
mix together and serve in glasses or bottle to work or school
add ice to make it a fruit juice.



Easy Pancakes

ingredients
1 and 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3 and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 and 1/4 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 table spoon sugar
1 egg
3 tablespoons butter melted


direction
sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a bowl
create a well in the center and add your whisked milk,eggs and melted butter
mix together till its smooth
heat a lightly oiled girdle and scoop batter onto it
turn it over when it turns brown
add maple syrup, whipped cream, butter or berries of your choice
